A couple weeks now, i've been reading the Twilight saga books and to be honest the films do the books justice but on the other hand they don't.
But what really gets to me is that the film cut out big chunks of the books. The really humorous parts.

Professional/Moral Etiquette

Since my first journal entry, I told you about the radio station. Well last year the radio is no longer because of time and money we no longer have to keep it running.
Now I will talk about professional/moral etiquette in photography.
It is wrong for any photographer to publish images of a private sitting without consent. When I say private sitting, I mean a person paying for photographs to be taken of them. If your a student and need a volunteer, there must be an understanding that the material will not be used other than the purpose it was meant for i.e. college work.
Now, what if a photographer had a friend who volunteered to sit in a session but didn't quite know what was to be expected of him/her. What if the photographer had other things in mind other than taking photo's?
This happened to a friend of mine, who's husband volunteered to sit for a friend of his for a photo session. He was told by his friend that she wanted to do nude photography. So he asked his wife, knowing that they maybe female models involved and it would be tastefully and professionally done. So she said yes, what harm can it do. The husband was told that it was for college work, so he said yes.
In that same week, the photographer changed dramatically towards the wife. The photographer began to disrespect and being totally rude to the wife at any chance she got. The wife couldn't understand why this sudden change in heart. In the mean time the photographer tried to be too cosy towards the husband and thought of every possible thing to get him to come and see her including faking a medical condition. That it when the wife saw the photo's up in public for everyone to see. Her husband and the photographer and not a model and the husband immediately asked for them to be removed.
It seems to me that the photographer misread the husbands kindness and fantasized on it a bit too far. Of course the husband didn't give his permission to have the photo's to be published. The photographer thought that it would break up the marriage and in her head it did because she was telling people that they were an item.
Then the constant phone calls started at ridiculous times of the day and night, asking to speak with the husband. This went on for months and her fixation was getting worse. The husband didn't know what to do about it but the wife did. Enough was enough, so the next time she phoned, the wife picked it up and said stop this constant phoning, it's getting silly and ridiculous. If you wish to speak with my husband, please call again no later than 7pm.
You'd think that would've put a stop to it but it didn't, so the phone was left to ring, some nights unplugged.
The wife said he's gonna have to put a stop to it and speak with her. So the next time she phoned, he did just that. It turns out that the photographer was in love with him and that he wanted him all to herself and leave his wife. So the husband said that is not going to happen and I suggest you find somebody else.
The moral of this story is, keep your private life separate from your professional life and don't publish without permission because you could end up getting sued.

Whats new??

Been along time since I wrote anything at all, or even posted my lastest photo's but there is a good reason for it..Honest!
In the last few months, I have been busy setting up an Internet radio called PheonixRadioNet, in which we only promote unsigned and indie artists. This task isn't very easy at all, in fact it's quite the opposit because we do actively seek, bands and listeners world wide and at the moment we are seeking DJ's.
There is alot of great talent out there and I'm honored to be a part of it all. Alot of latenights but I do get alot of satisfaction, when artists says, 'Thanks for all that you do for indie music'
At some point this year, we will be streaming live gigs and I for one can't wait for that!
So why not tune in today and listen to all that talent...Who knows you may even get to hear your indie band.

In the moment

I am new here to deviant, I've always loved photography and writing poetry. But this week, I've been wanting to be in my element because for the past week has been pretty emotional to say the least. My stepdaughter brother chose to end his life and some of you here may know who I'm talking about. So I've decided to take time out with my camera but my pen hasn't caught up with us yet...LOL
It has been a beautiful week, the sun is out most of the time dancing in the early summer breeze, kissing my hair has it whispers to me softly. What does the wind say to me?
"live and breath, dance and sing, then write about me."
Inspiration comes from within us and outside of us. It's truely a magical feeling.
Be aloud to be swept away in the moment, it can't do us any harm can it.
